GREEN TEA IS THE MOST CONSUMED BEVERAGE IN THE WORLD AFTER WATER.
Green Tea is blessed with special active anti-oxidant ingredients (polyphenol of catechins type) – These compounds proved to be very strong anti-oxidants, more effective than vitamin E and vitamin C. They provide active protection against sun radiation and its damages to our skin. We are well aware nowadays that the sun radiation and other environmental factors as well, play a dominant role in the accelerated process of skin aging. Effective cosmetic preparations must contain effective anti-oxidants capable of neutralizing the presence of free radicals which occurs after radiation, and thus to minimize their damages remarkably.
In our GREEN TEA SERIES, besides the use of various kinds of Green Tea extracts (to achieve optimal effectiveness) other materials and new technologies of advanced cosmetology such as micro-encapsulation and controlled release, are employed.
The serum and the nourishing cream in this series contain retinol and vitamin “E” in microscopic capsules able to release gradually the active components for a long duration.
Retinoids contribute several effective aspects to the skin, the most potential one intended for topical use, is the retinoic acid (tretinoin) which is very effective in treating radiation damage to the skin. Due to common adverse reactions it is classified as medication. According to many scientific researches the penetration of retinol and its derivatives (such as retinyl palmitate) into the skin is much better than that of the retinoic acid and furthermore it changes in part into retinoic acid by the skin enzyme retinol dehydrogenase mostly active in the basal layer. It was further demonstrated that the topical use of retinol and its derivatives largely contribute to the thickening of the epidermis and regulate the renewal of the cells – all this without having to suffer all the typical harmful reactions which usually follow treatment by retinoic acid. Beta Glucan is a natural extract from a special kind of yeast and it is one of the newest and most promising factor for the treatment of the skin.
Beta Glucan invigorates the natural immunity system of the skin and thus protects it from a long chain of unnecessary and undesirable phenomena, such as loss of moisture, oxidation of lipids and others. Moreover, this factor is one of the few which was tested on human beings and proved to be an excellent wrinkle-smoother.
Beta glucan is found in our GREEN TEA RETINOL SERUM.
Ceramides: Progress and technology make it possible today to recreate ceramides identical to the natural ones in the skin, recognized for their special high effectiveness. Ceramides constitute 40% of all lipids in the horny layer of the skin and there are seven types of them. Once ceramides are extracted, the horny layer looses completely its duty as a skin barrier i.e. preventing loss of moisture as well as giving protection to the skin against any undesirable penetration of foreign bodies. Scientific researches pointed out other biological advantages of ceramides such as stopping the elastases (enzymes which decompose elastin) and also keeping control over the shedding of dead cells – desquamation.
There are seven products in this Green Tea Series:
Retinol Serum
This serum comes as a liquid emulsion, it is light, pleasant and delicately perfumed suitable to all types of skin. A quick glance at the list of its components will reveal that it is one of the leading preparations capable of slowing down aging processes of the tissue, smoothing wrinkles and keeping the skin healthy and radiant. This cosmetic preparation contains retinol and vitamin E in micro-capsules, beta glucan, ceramides, two kinds of green tea extracts, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), allantoin, alpha bisabolol (active etheric oil of chamomille flowers) and others.
Retinol Nourishing Cream
A cream of delicate texture, especially pleasant to the touch, contains avocado and calendula oils, green tea extract, retinol and vitamin E in micro-capsules. The cream also contains ceramides, panthenol and natural bisabolol.
Eye Cream
Is a fine combination of vegetable squalane (an oily substance identical to the natural sebum in the skin) and ceramides. It is of a unique liquid texture which improves the moisture balance in the delicate eye region, nourishes it with vital vitamins such as vitamins E and B5. It also contains green tea extract, natural bisobolol – all ingredients contributing to the special soothing-calming qualities.
Moisturizer for dry skin (SPF=23)
Here appearance is deceiving. The cream itself being of delicate and pleasant texture actually presents a powerful barrier against sun radiation SPF=23. This cream passed with great success the Australian UV-A test. i.e.– this cream has a strong and very effective influence in delaying the accelerated skin aging process resulting from exposure to the sun radiation. The cream was also put to test for its water resistance ( water proof) The cream is of a liquid texture, contains green tea extract, panthenol and other new modern moisturizers.
Mask for dry skin
This mask is a fine combination of very strong calming factors together with moisturizers and skin protectors such as Green Tea, panthenol, vitamin E – all in a pleasant oily texture. This mask is applied and removed with great ease leaving a smooth velvety skin behind.
Green tea soap less soap
A very gentle soapless soap, maintains the natural pH of the skin. Contains green tea extract.
Green Tea Shower Scrub
This soapless soap is gentle and quick foaming contains green tea extract and a high concentration of round shaped grains which make it a perfect cleansing preparation causing no damage to the skin.
